Case Study

GeZLive

Real-time marketplace for live experiences.

Next.jsSupabaseRealtimeTailwindStripe

Selling live experiences has a cruel physics: inventory that expires by the minute and traffic that arrives all at once. GeZLive was built for exactly that moment — the launch-day stampede.

01

The brief

A marketplace for live experiences needs three things at the same time: sellers updating availability in real time, buyers who trust what they see is actually available, and a checkout that holds when a popular drop sends a thousand people to the same page in the same minute.

02

The build

Supabase Realtime keeps every listing honest — when a slot sells, every open browser knows within a heartbeat. Real-time chat puts buyers and hosts in the same room before money moves. And the Stripe checkout path is designed for the burst-traffic curves a launch day produces.

03

The status

Double-bookings are prevented by architecture, not by apology emails. The platform is currently in development — the realtime inventory, chat and checkout core is built; the marketplace surface is being finished around it.

The scoreboard

  • Real-time inventory: sold means sold, on every screen
  • Burst traffic handled by design, not by luck
  • Buyer–host chat closes trust gaps before checkout
