Case Study

GTÜ Prüfstelle EKO

Online booking for a German vehicle inspection station.

Next.jsTypeScriptTailwindVercel

A German vehicle inspection station runs on precision — yet its appointments ran on a telephone. We built the digital front desk: book online, know the price, done in under 30 minutes.

01

The brief

GTÜ Prüfstelle EKO in Altena handles HU/AU inspections, classic-car appraisals and modification approvals. The work is regulated to the millimeter; the booking process was 'call during office hours and hope'. Every missed call was a customer driving to a competitor — often literally.

02

The build

A German-language site engineered like the station itself: no fluff, fixed prices on the surface, online appointment booking at the center. The detail customers love — a plaque calculator that reads the month off your current inspection sticker and tells you exactly when your next HU is due, then offers you a slot for it.

03

The payoff

Appointments now arrive around the clock with zero phone tag. Fixed prices upfront ended the 'what will it cost' friction, and the plaque widget turns a routine glance at a windshield sticker into a booked inspection.

The scoreboard

  • Online booking replaced office-hours phone tag
  • Fixed pricing upfront — zero cost surprises
  • Plaque-date widget converts curiosity into appointments
